We are seeking a technically driven Building Science Specialist to support the assessment, analysis and improvement of building performance, sustainability and environmental quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake building performance assessments and technical analysis.
• Support building energy modelling, thermal comfort and environmental simulations.
• Evaluate building envelope performance, moisture risks and thermal bridging.
• Contribute to passive design, energy efficiency and decarbonisation studies.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for improved building performance.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate performance-based design strategies.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Science, Mechanical Engineering, Building Physics, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in building performance, sustainability or related technical analysis.
• Understanding of building physics, heat transfer, thermal comfort and energy efficiency.
• Familiarity with energy modelling or building simulation tools.
• Strong analytical abilities and technical report-writing skills.
• Experience with green building certification frameworks is advantageous.
