East Legon Commercial Centre 

The East Legon Commercial Centre project is a state-of-the-art mixed-use six-level building that comprises three offices on levels one, two, and three, six single-bedroom apartments on level four, and four double-bedroom apartments on level five located, in the vibrant community of East Legon in Ghana. This building was designed with the latest innovative technology, combining visual comfort and energy conservation, and a focus on maximizing natural daylighting.

For the commercial section, our open-plan offices on the first and second floor, have at least 55% of the Total Usable Floor Area (UFA) with a Daylight Factor (DF) of more than 2. This indicates a significant level of natural light according to International standards (GREENSTAR, LEED, BREEAM, WELL etc.) and will ensure that employees enjoy a comfortable working environment that promotes wellness and productivity.

With regards to the residential section, all apartment bedrooms obtained an Average Daylight Factor (ADF) of more than 1.0%, signifying that they receive adequate levels of daylight according to International standards (HOMESTAR, LEED, BREEAM, WELL etc.). This is particularly important for the well-being of our residents, as natural light has been shown to have a positive impact on mood, energy levels, and sleep quality.

This building is not only designed to reduce energy consumption through less dependence on artificial lighting, but also, to provide a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere for both work and leisure. By virtue of our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the well-being of our occupants, we made sure that all spaces had ample natural lighting, which creates an inviting and comfortable atmosphere.

The benefits of natural daylighting go beyond energy efficiency and improved well-being. Studies have shown that the quality of light in a workspace or home has a direct impact on the performance and productivity of employees and occupants. As such, the East Legon Commercial Centre will equally provide a productive and healthy environment for all those who live and work within the building.
