Richard Oduro

Richard Afriyie Oduro is Lead for Environment and Sustainability at Morks Reid and a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, jointly appointed by the School of Earth and Environment (SEE), and the School of Chemical and Process Engineering (SCAPE).  Richard’s experiences span decades across both economic and energy policy. Currently, he is part of the Supergen Energy Networks Hub’s project on Multi-Vector Energy Networks (MVEN), where he analyzes various systems within the framework of MVEN to assess their societal and policy implications.  

 

Richard has also been involved with the Centre for Environment and Sustainability (CES) and Surrey Energy Economics Centre (SEEC), both at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK where his work focused on the application and Policy regarding cost efficiencies of the Electricity Distribution Network in West Africa. Beyond been engaged with industry, Richard has been involved in the delivery of Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics and Contemporary Issues in Economics at the Surrey School of Economics. Richard has also worked previously with Bank of Africa Ghana Limited as a Corporate Banker and as Credit Risk Analyst in charge of Energy Trade Finance, and Energy Project Finance.
